Seaspray Cafe - Fistral Beach

Seaspray Cafe is nestled in the edge of the cliff at the south end of Fistral beach. You will find it about half way down the steps to the beach. It has some of the best views over Fistral and had a spacious balcony with tables or plenty of indoor seating which are perfect for wave watching on cold, wet and windy days.

Seaspray is usually open for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea and cake. The menu is small but perfectly formed with food is freshly cooked and delcious featuring local seafood which might include crab, sardines and mackerel. It is also hearty and filling to keep your energy up for surfing, walking or swimming on the beach. Breakfast/brunch options include blueberry pancakes and smashed avocados on sourdough toast with roast tomatoes, streaky bacon and fried egg.

We stopped off for a few beers and a spot of lunch. It was so relaxing, I honestly didn't want to leave. I had crab on a brioche roll with avocado and tomato salsa and skin on fries. It was spot on. The others had burgers with chips which they raved about.

It has recently changed hands and despite the issues being experienced by many of the businesses in Newquay of staff shortages and high demand, the service was incredibly good and super friendly. Oh and also did I mention the views?!
